My journey as a visual artist has been largely

concurrent with my journey as a naturalist.

Self-taught in most mediums, my artwork is influenced

by the natural and man-made environments of the lower ​Great Lakes region as well as my deep affinity for the ​delicate birds with whom I work.

A broad set of creative skills and a diverse array of interests ​inform my approach to my eclectic visuals: I can be clean, ​solemn, bold, whimsical, abstract, and beyond. My heart, ​however, lies amidst a figurative Art Deco skyline.
